Fifty-six African startups, investors, and other ecosystem stakeholders have been named regional winners in the East, North, Southern, and West African legs of the Global Startup Awards (GSA) competition. These winners will now compete in the continental final, showcasing Africa’s most innovative and impactful solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

GSA Africa is the largest independent startup ecosystem competition on the continent and serves as the exclusive platform for the GIIG Africa Fund to discover, fund, and scale innovative startups. The third edition of the GSA Africa competition saw an overwhelming response, with 11,949 entries from various sectors.
